DJ, performer and Montreal native MZ SUNDAY LUV knows a thing or two about entertaining a crowd, a skill she’ll be bringing to Exberliner’s nine year bash: 9, danke! on June 24. She recently released her first EP with another Berlin based artist, Electrosexual, entitled I Feel Love (Rock Machine Records, 2010).

FRIDAY

12:00 Walk through the sun searching for the freshest, most ripe fruit at the Turkish market on Maybachufer.

14:30 Smoke a little joint at Mauerpark.

16:00 Stop by Stadtbad Neukölln. It’s like swimming in a museum.

SATURDAY

14:00 Head to Museum Island.

16:00 Then I go to the Botanical Garden.

18:00 Play my piano for a while.

19:00 If I’m not cooking at home, I head to Schneeweiss or Bar Raval.

23:00 Just sleeping on Saturday night is a thrill for me, but I if I do go out, I like Ritter Butzke and of course Monster Ronson's.

SUNDAY

12:00 Sunday morning the biergartens of Panorama Bar call my name.

15:00 Then a mojito as I search for treasures and trinkets again at the flea market at Boxhagener Platz.

21:00 Time for more music again and some painting at home, sweet home.

Why would you go from Kreuzberg to Mauerpark then all the way back to Neukoln? Bit of a diversion to smoke a joint in an ugly park?

Yeah, that sucks. This is why more and more people are realizing Berlin is just a dumping ground for pretentious mid-20's fakers without enough money or guts to cut it in Brooklyn. Pathetic. Next time at least give the space to someone with something to say.
