Do you like this?

In art-happy Kreuzberg, one-year-old Mother Drucker gallery and print house covers many an aspect of art production: gallery, workshop, showroom, and printing facilities – a one-stop shop for the DIY art brigade. With as much gusto as the simple pun in the name implies, Mother Drucker not only supports established artists but the new and struggling, too. In short, it’s a year-round factory for art, as highlighted by their Druck Berlin Screen Print Festival last summer.

The newest event to satiate art appetites is the As the Crow Flies print show on Dec 16. Check out the works of seven European artists in a collaboration of urban art and silkscreen printing – the show promises to be a paragon of Berlin's edgy-trendy character.

Pieces like the mistaken Banksy astronaut visible from Skalitzer Straße actually by Victor Ash and Hannah Parr's more emotionally charged color-rich paintings get the silkscreen treatment resulting in more accessible (and affordable) editions you can actually take home to mom for the holidays, or hell, keep for yourself.  In tune with the DIY spirit: homemade Sloe Gin to lubricate your brain and loosen your tongue. Johanna Knutsson provides electronic beats for the urban environ.

And each attendee gets one free silkscreen print from artist Anton Unai.
