Super-hypochonder opens across Berlin cinemas April 10.
As if the fear of being single and alone on his 40th birthday wasn't enough, medical imagist Romain is plagued by a debilitating fear of germs. This undemanding pearl of a French comedy is no variation on form – au contraire, it exemplifies just how sublime the classical tropes of the love triangle and the comedy of errors can be. Writer/director/actor Boon, a successful comic in his own right, does not miss a beat with his obsessive idiosyncrasy and clever physical gags. Truly infectious laughter.
Super-Hypochonder | Directed by Dany Boon (France 2013) with Dany Boon, Alice Pol, Kad Merhad. Starts April 10
