Print the Legend
Futurale showcases seven documentaries that explore the future of work in our so-called post-digital societies, including award-winning Print the Legend (photo) examining the saga of 3D printing from Steve Jobs-like visionaries to 3D handgun makers.
And don’t miss Dutch documentary Ik ben Alice, which offers a thought-provoking reflection on the relationship between humans and AI. The filmmakers follow an experiment with Alice – a child-sized robot with a little girl’s face – as the social care-bot is introduced into the separate homes of three lonely old women.
Organised by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the festival turns a timely eye on tomorrow’s labours of love, man and machine. Check out the full programme at www.arsenal-berlin.de.
