There’s a bit of early-twenties coming of age and a mid-forties pastor breakdown much worse than the pre-menopausal midlife crisis your mother suffered. With a psychopathic pastor as their only guide to redemption, the students of Christ find themselves slowly falling victim to the city.

The cast congregate smashingly, as the thin-faced protagonist and his German-born single mother fuckbuddy prove more intoxicating than any communion wine. The English-language Berlin-film night in cooperation with has been moved to Saturday but will, as usual, feature a post-screening Q&A with the director and cast at Lichtblick.
