The tranquil life of happy-go-lucky Hedi, Uli, and young son Finn is thrown off balance when Hedi suddenly starts having panic attacks. Despite mounting financial and emotional stress, the couple tries to hold it together, but wittiness cannot mend discontent and resentment. This tender and skilfully paced tragicomedy beautifully juggles droll mockery and drama. A mélange of strength and fragility in Tonke’s eye-widening performance, set against a bohemian chic backdrop, is perfectly opportune.
