As a respected character thespian, Dillane’s presence provides a serious boost to this story of a successful Greek immigrant whose nibbles empire collapses in the banking crisis, forcing Harry P to take his three kids back to their roots and re-open a fish and chip shop in not-so-desirable north London with a formerly ne’er do well brother (Corraface). Neither new nor novel, the movie’s easily digestible attractions and self-evident truths constitute refreshingly presented, albeit (slightly) insubstantial, fare.
