Harmlessly sweet if somewhat ickily inspi rational, this romance/ drama about a New York book critic coping with a failed marriage and her Indian driving instructor welcoming a bride sent from home is easy to sit through thanks largely to the inexhaustible charm of leading lady Clarkson, whose dishevelled grace and guttural laugh prove infinitely winning. The life-lesson-heavy screenplay, however, is less than subtle, hitting those metaphors for starting a new way too hard. In short, strictly for those in need of a hug.
