Noble shit fit
Swallowed up by blog/ironic/meta dicourse, DIY anarchist culture can seem lost to those carefully clicking their tongues while thanking their lefty friends for the vegan potlucks. That’s why it’s so important that this film was made. It highlights different types of DIY and squatter culture across Europe and Russia and most notably includes interviews with legendary anarchist upstarts Crass for a historical perspective. The only thing that brings the film down a little is its scope. A more in-depth focus on fewer protagonists would have expanded our understanding, particularly with regard to the Russian anti-fascists.
