Ever wanted to venture inside some of those beautiful Charlottenburg apartments, but were afraid that the real estate agents would never take you seriously? Well now you get your chance.
Over one weekend (October 22-24), more than 70 Berlin living rooms will be opened to the public as performance venues for a unique series of piano concerts.
Five euros buys you access to the complete range of pianists, professional and amateur, spread across the city; the musicians were selected from application videos submitted to the selection committee, and now available on Piano City’s YouTube channel.
To supplement this unique tour, Radialsystem V is hosting a long night of piano music on Saturday (19:00) and a more family-friendly program on Sunday (11-22:00). You never know, this voyeuristic journey through Berlin’s sitting rooms may turn out to be just as addictive as Chatroulette...
