Teotihuacan was the first, largest and most influential metropolis in Ancient Mexico, a thousand years before the Aztecs made their presence felt. Martin-Gropius-Bau's mammoth exhibition (July 1 - October 10) comprises more than 450 objects from Teotihuacan's art, everyday life and religion. The specimens include huge bits of architecture, filigree vessels and figures, stone carvings, masks and god statues - some of which are 2,000 years old.
