Arto Lindsay's an odd ball. Which does have its benefits, but makes it hard to pin him down. (His music has been called things like "fake jazz".) Lindsay's background is in Brazilian music, though, and in particular Tropicália - and when he adds his own layer of avant-garde experimentation, some really singular sounds come out.
