DESCRIPTION:Fashion design begins with an ink sketch\, then moves to a tex
 tile factory\, then ends with a body in a photograph. After starting off a
 s colleagues on a photo shoot for Vogue Italia in 2007\, photographer Mich
 elangelo Di Battista and drawer Tina Berning began working together to pro
 duce mixed-media photographs which collapse the fashion industry’s ink-t
 extile-image phases. Berning 'wardrobes' Di Battista’s black-and-white f
 ashion images with pen sketches of hats and scarves\, and veils them in lo
 ose textiles. The more than 30 photographs in »FACE/project« feature the
  likes of Claudia Schiffer\, Amber Valetta and Julia Stegner. The line bet
 ween fashion and art has never been so thin. Through October 30.
