Beyond the Khmer Rouge horrors, artists from Phnom Penh reconstruct their country’s past and present. After Berlin, Istanbul and Rotterdam, the Cambodian capital is where avant-garde director Michael Laub chose to make another filmed “portrait series”, picking circus artists, farmers and security guards. Presented together with art installations, discussions, and two concerts of the glamorous band The Cambodian Space Project. For the full schedule, visit hebbel-am-ufer.de.
