Clare Wigfall’s debut collection of short stories, The Loudest Sound and Nothing, was published by Faber and Faber in 2007 to critical acclaim. In 2008 she received the BBC National Short Story Award. Clare will be hosting this month’s Exberliner meets Borderlines on January 11.

FRIDAY

19:30 Finish up whatever I’m working on, and on to Herr Rossi. Friday is fish night! The food is delicious, the wine excellent, and the staff, super friendly.

SATURDAY

11:00  No Kita run – yay! We sleep in.

13:00 Brunch at Sowohl Als Auch.

15:00 En route to the museum, we stop and have a quick browse through the Saturday’s Wochenmarkt am Kollwitzplatz.

16:00 Catch up with some mummies at the Neues Museum.

20:00 Someone will be having a party somewhere, so we’ll drop by and stay until the child starts to droop.

SUNDAY

12:00 Stop to browse through the books at Shakespeare & Sons.

13:00 Spend the afternoon at the Zoological Garden.

17:30 A quick pick-me-up of tea and cakes at Anna Blume.

19:00 With any luck, Sharmaine Lovegrove of Dialogue Books will be hosting another literary dinner at Soho House.
