Voting in Berlin

Would you like to vote for Obama, Romney or Roseanne?

US citizens can vote from Berlin, but the important thing is to act now. Don’t wait until November 6.

You can send an absentee ballot to the state where you last lived. In terms of the electoral college, a ballot sent by a Berliner originally from New Jersey is counted just like a normal New Jersey ballot.

You can register to vote and request a ballot online with a Federal Post Card Application. Just go to www.fvap.gov

If you are already a registered voter, you can email or fax your application to your local election officials in the US. If you are voting for the first time, you will probably need to sign the form and send it by snail mail.
