Oddly enough, Michael Jackson and George W. Bush have something in common. Wonder what it could be? Both became the brunt of worldwide jokes as a consequence of their actions on Berlin's Pariser Platz. Jackson for dangling his baby out the window of the Hotel Adlon, and Bush after choking on a pretzel in the Palais am Pariser Platz restaurant. For those of you who didn't know the location of those incidents, or for those of you who didn't know that David Bowie had a Schöneberg Wohnung in the 1970s, or for those of you who simply like learning random facts about Berlin, the Fritz Music Tour is your chance to broaden your knowledge. As the name suggests, the tour focuses on the city's musical history while showing tourists (or curious residents) around the city.

The three-hour bus tour kicks off in typical fashion at Unter den Linden and rolls through the majority of Berlin - Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg, Friedrichshain, Kreuzberg, Schöneberg and Charlottenburg - while the guide points out important sites like the offices of Germany's MTV affiliate, Hansa Studios (where acts like Bowie and Depeche Mode recorded albums), and the location where Lola Rennt was filmed. You'll also discover some cool places to go clubbing and get a chance to watch exclusive interviews with record producers, artists, and MTV execs as they play on TV screens during the tour. Ticket prices depend on the number of people signed up for the tour, but generally run around €19 per person.
