Hyperloop One, a startup co-founded in 2014 by a handful of people in a LA garage, wants to make traveling through low-pressure tubes happen. And you better believe in this ambitious quest!
During its first high-speed test, Hyperloop went from zero to 60 mph in 1.1 seconds. Which means that the passengers of this futuristic mode of ground transportation will be able to travel from Los Angeles to San Francisco in just half an hour or that a commute from Paris to Marseille, which takes just over three hours on an SNCF high-speed train, would shrink to 40 minutes.
