There were a fair amount of top hats and tin-foil-covered voguers in this former post office, but the place is generally accessible, with an outdoor grill, and, most importantly, the sort of sound system that made me feel the walls were going to cave in while I was in the bathroom. Despite its modest appearance – the main space is the PO reception area – Horst Krzbrg is for techno and for dancing. Prices are low and the beer selection, surprisingly broad: the vibe is not unlike a smaller Picknick, with the social element exiled to the outside lounge. Drug of choice: speed, to keep you up all night.
