The indie-folker’s latest release My Woman is a peppier follow-up to 2014’s excellent country-tinged Burn Your Fire for No Witness. She’ll bring her more upbeat effort to Columbia Theater.
Anything could happen, a cold-blooded poisoning or a brutal massacre, but murder is certain. Through improvisation based on suggestions from the audience Emerentias Erben create surreal sketches, off-the-cuff games and Oscar-worthy monologues.

Frankfurt born multi-instrumentalist Jorma Ruben leads the five-piece band, creating playful indie-pop with a wacky melancholic touch. Their third album, Work/Worth, is the last instalment in a trilogy of semi-autobiographical, coming-of-age works.
The Journey/Drom turns the Roma migration crisis into a live talk show. The script, which comes from actual experiences of people on the Balkan trail, brings new depth to the trite image of Roma people we normally see in the media.
