It’s the big summer break and Greg (Zachary Gordon) is at a loose end. Should he agonise over the sanitary conditions in his local pool, worry about his dad’s (Steve Zahn) boy scout approach to adolesence or exploit his friend’s membership of an exclusive club where the newly designated object of his desire teaches tennis? Whatever, Trevor! This movie breezes along making choices that are about as inane as Greg’s, with only an occasional sitcom laugh to alleviate our joint problem. Boredom.
