Do you like this?
Jasmin (Schäfer) has killed her daughter and now faces a gruelling set of interviews with psychiatrist Dr. Feldt (Puls) until the doctor feels professionally entitled to submit recommendations. Set almost entirely in the claustrophobic gloom of a clinic, the film observes the two women gradually chipping away at the material, social and emotional divide between them to achieve a measure of trust. Looking this closely at the underside of what has always been considered the most heinous of crimes is a little like listening to chalk on a blackboard – and strongly recommended.
