Do you like this?

While zombie movies have raging fits of revival, they rarely stray from the formula. This one doesn’t much, either, but it’s a fun, well-made romp with chomp that’s unique in quite a few ways. Location: Berlin. Main character: frumpy Austrian (re: NOT military/spy/muscle man with awesome skills). Budget: low, but effective.

And Rammbock’s also not boring, delivers a scare, and knows exactly when to take its bow, at a trim 60 minutes.

RAMMBOCK | Directed by Marvin Kren (Germany 2010) with Michael Fuith, Sebastian Achilles, Carsten Behrendt. Opens in Berlin cinemas on September 9.
