Daniel Haaksman is a DJ and a music producer. He runs the record label Man Recordings and also hosts “Heat” at WMF Club (Klosterstr. 44, Mitte) every second Thursday.

Friday

19:00 Gallery hopping in Mitte. My favourite gallery is Neugerriemschneider (Linienstr. 155).

21:00 Dinner with friends at Bandol (Torstr. 167, Mitte).

23:00 Sipping some Moscow Mules at Tausend Bar (Schiffbauerdamm 11, Mitte), hanging with friends and enjoying Hugo Casablanca´s disc selection.

2:00 Late-night snack at Luigi Zuckermann Deli (Rosenthaler Str. 67, Mitte).

3:00 Early to bed – for a DJ, bliss on a Friday night.

Saturday

12:00 Sleep in, then grab a coffee and tostada at Café-Galão (Weinbergsweg 8, Mitte).

13:00 Strolling around the SoTo area (South of Torstraße); regular stopover at Pro QM bookshop (Almstadtstr. 48-50) to check out latest art and music books.

15:00 Get into my bathing shorts for a jump into Stadtbad Mitte (Gartenstr. 5) to swim away the final remains of Friday’s hangover.

16:00 A quick stop at Firmament (Schröderstr. 8, Mitte) to check out their newest stuff – they always stock the freshest Japanese fashion. Gotta be fast to pick that newest limited edition T-shirt!

17:00 Extensive reading of the weekend newspapers

18:00 Prepare a nice dinner for friends – Mediterranean style.

01:00 Late drink at Kim bar (Brunnenstr. 10, Mitte)

02:00 Early to bed – for a DJ, bliss on a Saturday night. Certainly no clubbing for me!

Sunday

11:00 Long breakfast at home.

13:00 Go back to bed.

16:00 Visit the Mauerpark flea market (Bernauer Str. 63-64).

20:00 Watch Michael Haneke’s The White Ribbon at Kino Toni (Max-Steinke-Str. 43).
