The Feuerle Collection combines imperial Chinese furniture and ancient art from Southeast Asia with works by international contemporary artists, like as Cristina Iglesias, Anish Kapoor and James Lee Byars.
In the Silk Room, new ceramic works by the British artist and author Edmund de Waal are now on temporary display alongside with never-before-shown objects from the collection. The guided tour of de Waal’s work will be led by the Feuerle Collections’ director, Daniele Maruca, who will also be in conversation with the collector Désiré Feuerle.

The setting of the art collection brings an additional dimension: It’s housed in a renovated WWII telecommunications bunker in Kreuzberg. You can find out more about Berlin’s bunkers and their current use here.
