Berlin can be a grey place sometimes, so it can’t hurt to introduce a little colour with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. But where should pick them out? Here are our favourite flower shops in Berlin:

Cultivation Berlin: Dreamlike flowers, delivered

Behind the art collective Cultivation Berlin are four Berlin installation artists who implement their creativity in a floral way.
Photo: Cultivation Berlin

Cultivation Berlin is an art collective that specializes in floral creations. The members – Sina, Kieran, Masha and Mood – come from the Berlin art scene and have traded paintbrushes for plant stems. Recently, the group has begun using their art and flower background to put together film and festival sets. Their flower arrangements are characterized by a carefully managed aesthetic. All plants and flowers are packaged in recycled material and obtained via fair trade. As a special gift idea, consider buying a voucher for flower deliveries – so the recipient can put together their own bouquet!

Lovingly tied, seasonal bouquets have brought Moabit’s Flower Factory a loyal clientele. The friendly neighbourhood shop between Hansaplatz and Gotzkowskybrücke specialises in floral decorations for all occasions. All of the flowers come from Europe, are fair trade and come from regional partners. The pretty orchid varieties, for example, come from an organic farmer in the Berlin area. Flower delivery service is also offered as a service.

The small flower shop in the Weserkiez has quickly developed a loyal customer base.

The real life “flower girl” behind Neukölln’s Blütenmädchen (Flower Girls) is Mandy Niersberger, who specialises in rare and unique flower varieties. Niersberger sources her flowers locally, binds beautiful, fresh meadow bouquets and makes pretty arrangements from flowers that she has dried herself. In order to work as sustainably as possible, additional materials such as foils and wire are not used. The bouquets from Blütenmädchen are guaranteed to be original and beautiful.

Of all the flower shops in Berlin, none say “luxury” quite like Marsano. The bouquets are always chich, modern, and tasteful; expect quality, as the flowers used are cultivated by the shop itself. Consider choosing a beautiful vase to go with the lush bouquet to make a complete set. On a sidenote, the Marsano Vintage shop is right next to the shop, and it sells handcrafted, vintage items.

Mancherleigrün: Natural bouquets

The beautiful flower shop Mancherleigrün in Bergmannkiez sells bouquets and special plants perfectly formed by nature.
Photo: Rosanna Steppat

Mancherleigrün (some green) is probably the most beautiful flower shop in Bergmannkiez. The small shop is supplied every morning by its partner nurseries in Brandenburg, ensuring fresh flowers every day. The team likes to emphasize that even an “imperfect” flower has a place in a bouquet. This lends the arrangements here a kind or rustic authenticity that the fancier shops just don’t have. Even if you don’t buy anything, step inside for a moment to take in the lovely scent of fresh flowers.
