Dior and I (2014)

A look inside the world of the Christian Dior fashion house with a privileged, behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Raf Simons’ first haute couture collection as its new artistic director.

When Raf Simons became the new artistic  director at Christian Dior, he had only eight weeks to prepare for his first haute couture collection.

This  behind-the scenes insight into the fashion industry does not shy away from exposing its rigid hierarchy and inherent conflict. Affectionately given a voice of their own, the ‘invisible’ artisan-seamstresses, whose contribution is paramount to such grandiose shows, also have their say.

Glamorous but down-to-earth, intense but humane, this is a visual and auditory feast, not just for fashion lovers.
