The kitchen creates Mediterranean delicacies à la minute. It goes without saying that the pasta here is homemade. And since only fresh ingredients are used, there is an extensive daily menu. The kitchen conjures with the best of what is available on the market every day: Fish and seafood, Argentine beef and pata negra, organic vegetables, exquisite herbs and spices. Especially the sauces delight with intense and surprising flavors. The chefs arrange each plate with great attention to detail, providing a visual treat as well.
Professione
Once a year, the kitchen team undergoes further training with a top chef in Italy. Each time, they bring back a few refinements from this workshop, for example, in terms of new dessert creations. And in service, too, they are constantly working to make the guest’s experience even more rounded. To ensure that staff spend less time processing payments and can provide guests with even more personalised service, La Gondola Due relies on luca Pay: a luca QR code is printed out with each receipt. Guests scan this code with their luca app and make the payment independently.
Tips arrive reliably to the staff with this payment process; they are simply added via preset percentages. “The nice thing about this preset,” Gent notes, “is that my people get more tips this way than before. This not only makes the guests happy, it makes my staff happy, too.”
