This Sunday buffet offers wonderful freshly made veggie concoctions from Sri Lanka – a subtle mix of spices reminiscent of Indian food but with a more sophisticated touch.
There are many rice-based dishes as well as spicy but light curries (sweet potato, aubergine, beetroot) you can eat with Polsambole (spicy grated coconut) and an Appe (delicate airy coconut milk pancake), salads, soups and more. The desserts include the most amazing velvety fresh yoghurt with palm syrup and a lovely spread of fresh fruit. A real feast! Come after 3pm and pay only €6!
The a la carte menu offers a list as long as your arm of vegetarian dishes, noodle and rice specialities. For the meat eaters there is just as much to choose from with chicken, beef, pork and even fish curries on offer. Some of these curries pack heat, but it’s the kind of heat that caresses you warmly rather than sucker punching you in the jaw.
