No more black at Kitkat? Club announce new guidelines
Berlin clubs are famous for hedonism, style and exclusivity, but could the standard “Berlin look” be changing? The stereotypical entrance guidelines “wear black, don’t smile” have seemed somewhat out of date for a while now, but a clearer sign that Berlin is entering a new, more colourful era could be evidenced by a message put out yesterday by Kitkat Club on Instagram.
“Stop showing up in black outfits! Stop showing up in underwear! Be creative or stay home!” wrote the club’s post. “Wear a colourful outfit… something fabulous, glamorous, glittery, magical or fetishistic-colourful!”
So, is Berlin about to enter a new era of bold, bright colours? Let’s see. And for those of you that still like to wear black? Don’t worry. There will surely be plenty of pretty interesting black outfits soon available in Berlin’s charity shops.
