Rammstein allegations mean no more “Row Zero” at Berlin concerts
The allegations around Rammstein and their lead singer Till Lindemann continue to emerge, with several women describing the murky process by which they were selected during concerts and invited to after-show parties where sexual acts are alleged to have taken place.

Some of the more alarming allegations include being offered alcohol and drugs, women being coerced into sexual encounters and, in one case which took place at a concert in Vilnius, drugging. Rammstein have denied that specific allegation, but as a result of the unfolding scandal, new scrutiny has been placed on their upcoming sold-out shows set to take place in Berlin next month.
On July 15, 16 and 18 Rammstein are set to play at Berlin Olympiastadion and, according to reports, there will be no “Row Zero” at these concerts. In many of the allegations, it emerged that young, attractive women were being recruited and placed in an exclusive area at the front of the stage (known as Row Zero) from which they would be selected for the after-show parties.
Apparently, at the Berlin concerts, “Row Zero” will remain empty. But for many, this feels like a pretty perfunctory way to deal with allegations of sexual assault, and it’s as yet unclear if there will be any after-show party.
