F.W. Murnau may well be better known for 1922's expressionist masterpiece Nosferatu, but his first true Hollywood film Sunrise is about the true and indestructible love that exists between a husband his wife and is regularly hailed as one of the best films in history. For it's fifth birthday party, the Berlin Film Society offers the rare oppurtunity to watch an actual Stummfilm at Weißenee's rustic Stummfilmkino.
