A dry-witted, sassy nun decides to trade in her gown for a smock and leave the convent in order to work full-time as an artist, establish silk-screen as a fine art and inevitably become a pop art legend and pedagogical role model. A retrospective of her body of work follows the developments of the iconic American artist, teacher, philosopher, and political activist. Her prints combine pop culture graphics, often from advertisements, and spiritual texts from scripture, songs or anywhere else in the media.
