Not for the weak of gut, this group show highlights understated works that quietly convey horrendous conditions. German sculptor Kasiske gives tragedy a brilliant new meaning with light, distant fatalities that sometimes border on cartoonish. His sculptures are smooth and clean with a fresh, fragrant air of doom. German painter Till Nitschmann uses rich, varied patterns and textures in his elaborately illustrated paintings that depict nauseously coloured underworlds full of demons and sideshows.
