Stachon’s unbelievably realistic industrial drawings, mixed with her ultra-modern, minimalistic sculpture, trick you into thinking that two different artists are being shown. The binding elements are an effortless stringency to monochrome grayscale (with the occasional appearance of copper) and the mantra “progress!”. She plays with the conceptualisation of the spatial environment as its own substance, almost as if it were another element of artwork in the exhibition, creating in end effect visual landscape installations of exquisitely minimal yet large in proportion. Through January 11.
