As ever, simplistic

I'm for the minimum wage and at the level at which it has been set.

The analysis presented here however, betrays a fundamental lack of economic understanding. The minimum wage was esablished 100 days ago - the long-term restructuring of the economy will take much longer, as the employers do their sums and see what impact the measure will have. It's a lot more complicated than the author implies. Just one example: the taxi branch is trying to get round it with tricks, if that doesn't work, there will be redundancies.

Economic restructuring takes a long time.
