EXBlicks: Lost and found?

Don't miss the next EXBlicks screening of B-Movie: Lust and Sound in West Berlin 1979-1989. Immerse yourself in its wild underground with scene-savant Mark Reeder, the directors, and a glass of wine on Sat, May 30 at 20:15 at Lichtblick Kino.

When directors Jörg A. Hoppe, Klaus Maeck and Heiko Lange set out to capture the cauldron of musical Berlin in the decade prior to re-unification, British musician and producer Mark Reeder provided a more than fortuitous way into the confusion.

In B-Movie: Lust and Sound in West Berlin 1979-1989 Reeder chronicles how his interest in German electro pop brought him to Berlin in 1978, where his own career as musician/producer and lively curiosity put him in close touch with Nick Cave and Blixa Bargeld, Die Toten Hosen, Malaria! and Frantic Elevator as well as the musical buzz in East Berlin.

Join us as we merge pop and subculture back when “days were short and the nights were endlessly long” along with realeyz.tv, the directors and Reeder for full creative immersion and a glass of wine.
