The self-proclaimed “trashiest underground short film festival in Berlin” is traditionally held in a location threatened by gentrification.
Friedrichshain’s Galiläakirche, with its permanent exhibition Jugend[widerstands]museum, provides the ideal backdrop for a motley evening of shorts unified only by their contempt for the establishment (to get a taste, check out their blog for a selection of entries from previous years).
It’s safe to assume that this session of video activism will be brought to a close in time-honoured asoziale fashion with a party at the nearby XB-Liebig, with beer and pogoing aplenty.
