The students behind this year’s media festival EMERGEANDSEE – En Détail turned their eye to the small details in life and selected 22 films from 400 submissions by amateurs and students from around the world to be screened in blocks on June 4.

There’s Berlin-based Sergej Hein’s Berlin Block Tetris, (starts at 18:00) an 80-minute film in which a Berlin Plattenbau is dropped from the sky and assembled like in the retro computer game Tetris. Or Armin Mobasseri’s stop-motion Paper Love that depicts a couple’s love story on a piece of toilet paper (starts at 21:15).

The €6 entrance fee on Saturday gives you access to exhibitions, films and the following party at Mädcheninternat (starts at 23:30). Friday and Sunday’s entrance is free, and you can relax over coffee and cake when all the artists gather with the audience for a final Kaffeeklatsch at 16:00.
