Love stinks

OUT NOW! If you rearrange the letters in I AM LOVE, you could spell "Evil Oma" (grandmother). Maybe then it would be worth watching.

Pretentious, irrelevant, boring. The story about an upper-crust Italian housewife (Swinton) falling in love with a swarthy chef while her industrial-aristocrat family is falling apart has been told before, and with far more urgency and sexiness, by Douglas Sirk in All That Heaven Allows and Todd Haynes’ modern update, Far From Heaven, as well as in the recent Partir with Sergi López.

Io Sono Amore (I Am Love) | Directed by Luca Guadagnino (Italy 2009) with Tilda Swinton. Starts October 28.
