Neukölln underground

OUT NOW! An ex-cop makes unlikely friendships while running from the past in UMMAH.

After shooting two suspects during an investigation into a neo-Nazi group, Daniel is done with working for the Verfassungsschutz and is sent to a run-down flat in Neukölln to recover. While he tries to tidy up the flat and his life, he meets Arab-German Abbas who takes pity on the lonely ex-detective. The men become friends, but Daniel’s past is catching up. The film is not without flaws but the current political topics and the heartwarming depiction of friendship make it worth your money.
