Sibling sentence

OUT NOW! It's no surprise that Sam Rockwell delivers another knock-out performance in CONVICTION.

When Betty’s older brother is convicted of murder in 1983, she’s convinced that he’s innocent and decides to become a lawyer to prove it. This is the beginning of a 20-year battle against the American legal system. Although Conviction follows the usual Hollywood template, the true story of a woman’s incredible willpower, as well as an unusually strong sibling-bond, make it both captivating and moving. Rockwell is, as usual, fantastic as the (maybe) innocently convicted man who quietly accepts his fate.

CONVICTION (BETTY ANNE WATERS) | Directed by Tony Goldwin (USA 2011) with Hilary Swank, Sam Rockwell. Opens March 17
