On her way to Chile, Maria hears a lullaby at the Buenos Aires airport, and she is disturbed: she‘s never heard it before, yet she knows the text and melody. Then she discovers she‘s lost her passport and has to stay in Argentina. Together with her father and policeman Alejandro, she uncovers a dark family secret. Das Lied in mir doesn‘t have a whole lot to say, but its quietness is pleasant enough.
DAS LIED IN MIR | Directed by Florian Cossen (Germany 2009) with Jessica Schwarz, Michael Gwisdek. Opens February 10
