The good, the bad and…

OUT NOW! In A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST crude jokes abound but the comedy ultimately falls flat.

Fans of bestiality and defecation jokes are in for a treat as sheep farmer Albert (MacFarlane) tries to win back his woman and avoid the pitfalls of life in the Wild West of 1882 whilst trying to carve out a niche for the comedy-revisionist Western. Seyfried and Neil Patrick Harris in supporting roles do comedy better than Theron and Neeson. And with Ted 2 in the pipeline, MarFarlane could do worse than limiting himself to contemporary whimsy.

A Million Ways to Die in the West | Directed Seth MacFarlane (USA 2014) with Seth Mac-Farlane, Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried. Starts May 29
