As we drift towards summer, Berlin’s open-air cinemas flicker into life.

In media partnership with Exberliner, Kreuzberg’s Mariannenplatz Freiluftkino programme includes big hitters like PTA’s divisive wonder The Master, documentary sensation Searching for Sugar Man and Harmony Korine’s hyper-everything Spring Breakers. There’s also a rare opportunity to see some of last year’s best German films – Lore, Oh, Boy and Seidl’s Paradies: Liebe – with English subs.

From May 9 onwards, Kino Central will once again be delving into the archive with peerless classics like Out of the Past, Casablanca and Bringing up Baby. For times and more information, check our OV movie search engine at exberliner.com.
