This year, International Women’s Day on March 8 marks the beginning of Feminist Film Week, a festival dedicated to inspirational female filmmaking.

Rise up and help make the Bechdel test superfluous with movies including Eat, Sleep, Die (photo), which opens proceedings with a study of a foreign Muslim worker who loses her job and takes on Swedish society in a private quest for justice.
