Workers revolt

OUT NOW! Two WORKERS rebel against servitude and embark on a beautiful, hilarious, tragic adventure.

Workers opens in Berlin on December 12.

Set in Tijuana, Workers depicts the parallel stories of two people – a janitor working in a light bulb factory and a maid looking after a trophy dog fed on steak – who after 30 years of servitude decide to rebel and seize the freedom life always denied them. Tragicomic and incisively humane, this unpretentious yet keenly affective portrait of ageing individuals who were dealt a bad hand from life is rendered irresistible by its delightfully deadpan humour.

Workers | Directed by Jose Luis Valle (Mexico, Germany 2013) with Jesus Padilla, Susana Salazar. Starts December 12
