I want to kill

OUT NOW! An experiment with murder fantasies in ZERO KILLED doles out gore, and a lot of talking heads.

Zero Killed is out in Berlin cinemas on February 6.

Kosakowski’s premise – allow people to act out their murder fantasies on the condition that they themselves develop and take part in the scenario – is certainly appealing and promises some rare and off-beat psychological insights. But these are only partially realised in a film that relies overly on participants whose authenticity is invalidated by the fact that they are performers anyhow (and familiar with fantasy re-enactment), whilst an overload of talking heads divests what drama there is of its potential charge.

Zero Killed | Directed by Michal Kosakowski (Germany, Australia 2012) documentary. Starts February 6
