Bringing some Altbau style to north Moabit since 2005, this former butcher shop turned Milchkaffee emporium stretches from the pavement and winds back infinitely, like your favourite nana’s apartment. With charm provided by the original turn-of-the-century Jugendstil tiles, dark wooden counters and floorboards, oil paintings, potted plants, chandeliers and free wifi, this linger-friendly space is warm and cosy despite its ample size. The food is equally rustic, with great omelettes and breakfast plates (€4-9), opulent salads (€4-8) and traditional, meat-heavy specials like Wiener-style pork schnitzels.
