In this small, comfy restaurant, the Polish owner has been serving homemade Polish and German dishes for 15 years: great pierogi (those pasta-dumplings filled with meat or cabbage), delicious borscht (with a piquant sour edge, and served with sauerkraut pierogi), hearty plates of Polish bratwurst (Bigos) served with a pile of pungent bacon-y sauerkraut and potatoes, a tasty chicken schnitzel, Spätzle and great Polish Tyskie beer on tap. Here, smokers are treated with respect, with a well-sized smoking room opening up to the nice patio.
